WaouW is a micro data center whose aim is to revolutionize the world of web hosting by making it easy for anyone to host websites at home and become their own web host.
WaouW is the first pocket-sized Data Center. It's a Plug & Play removable storage medium designed to be connected to an Internet box. It includes a pre-installed hosting system with turnkey open source solutions for creating and managing websites, applications, documents, media, emails and more.
The aim was to create a fun, user-friendly interface for the WaouW box, making it easy and intuitive to manage its many functions, even for people who are not very comfortable with technology. This approach aimed to democratize the use of the WaouW device, making it as easy to use as it is effective.
My main objective was to simplify the user path as much as possible, to make it clear and accessible, so as to guide the user through the various functions of the box without overwhelming him.
Principle mockups of the application's various features. These include the login interface, main dashboard, site management, backup and restore system, dedicated custom cloud, email management, etc.
I was responsible for the front-end development of the application, using HTML, CSS and JQuery. The interface is 100% responsive, ensuring an optimal user experience on all types of devices and browsers. I also integrated micro-interactions to enrich the user experience (animated background, appearance, hover animation, etc.).
From initial design to front-end development and the integration of dynamic micro-interactions, I succeeded in transforming complex technical concepts into a simplified and engaging user experience. This project has contributed to making technology more accessible and enjoyable for end-users.
