The Orange Wiki project consists of the creation of an Orange Wiki dedicated to Big Data, using the Open Source software DokuWiki. The objective is to centralize information on Big Data within the Orange organization.
My goal was to prioritize information, simplify the display of data and improve its understanding, by integrating it into a clear user interface. The Wiki edition also had to be usable by everyone, without technical knowledge thanks to the use of pre-configured templates. The application also had to use the Boosted framework and follow the constraints imposed by Orange's graphic charter.
UX/UI design
My main objective was to design an optimal user experience, ensuring intuitive navigation and an efficient layout to access Wiki content.
Principle mockups
I created basic mockups to define the structure and organization of the Wiki content, highlighting the main access points to information.
Web development (HTML, CSS)
In addition to design, I contributed to web development using HTML and CSS to bring the design to life and ensure compatibility with DokuWiki.
Development of customizable web templates
I developed customizable web templates specifically designed for use in DokuWiki, ensuring seamless integration with the content management system.
Using the Boosted framework
Orange uses the Boosted framework, created for their specific needs. Boosted a framework based on Bootstrap and modified to integrate the Orange graphic charter. I used Boosted to develop a user interface that was harmonious and aesthetically aligned with the Orange brand.
The user interface promotes a smooth and efficient navigation experience, while respecting Orange design principles to ensure visual consistency. This Wiki represents an interesting resource for the exchange of knowledge and information on Big Data within Orange, thus strengthening collaboration and innovation within the organization.
