The Airbus Automated Testing project is an innovative automated ground testing application, designed for tablets and aimed at replacing paper-based tests, carried out by specialized operators who have received several months of training.
This application aims to simplify the creation and execution of automated tests. It offers a novel solution for ground testing operations, improving the efficiency and simplicity of testing processes. My goal was to create the simplest user interface possible, so that it could be adopted more quickly by novice users.
Basic design of the application
I helped design an interface that significantly simplifies the creation and execution of automated tests, using a system of blocks and predefined conditions.
Facilitating user learning
One of the major challenges was making the application accessible to users who previously had no experience creating tests. These tests were carried out manually on a paper basis, by specialized operators and required training lasting several months.
I designed a user interface that simplifies the understanding and execution of automated tests, thereby improving the efficiency of ground operations. By making it easier for the user to learn, I helped people without prior training become proficient in using the application more quickly.
